JoAnn is an executive coach, consultant, facilitator, and author (The Word on Coaching). She has worked with Fortune 500 organizations, small businesses, and non-profits providing employee and leadership training, coaching, and development. In 2018, she founded The Behind the Badge Initiative with the mission to celebrate, honor, and support the law enforcement officer (LEO) community. This was in response to the ongoing well-documented scrutiny from inside and outside of the LEO organization. We know that this scrutiny has made an already stressful occupation even more extreme. JoAnn has always considered herself part of the law enforcement community – she was married to an officer for 32+ years and many members of her family are in law enforcement.

 

Her desire is to provide support, resources, and training to all facets of the LEO community – the leadership, the officer, and the officer’s family.
